Often when working with lots of different people who all have very different energies, you can end up with a little bit of a headache because all these energies seem to be at odds with each other. In typical New Age doctrine, energy is vibrating at different frequencies and if lots of people are working with each other while being at different frequencies then there can be clashes. This article focuses on how to get over this issue and prevent clashes. As a side effect, it also increases your ability to perceive your target’s energy and theirs to see yours. It can also enable you to root into astral planes and prolong your visit.
Hadron, why do you hate vibration and frequency talk?
Frequently, I come across someone practising a foreign spiritual practice that has mystical levels on the path to enlightenment and these mystical levels include very specific unique characteristics like “feeling secure”, “having vitality”, “feeling awake”, “rapturous devotional practice” and “low attachment to the ego”. So often when someone in the New Age community teaches these foreign practices all these unique criteria, which represent mystical evolution, are totally lost. It is easier to remember that you’re just working with higher and higher frequencies and so that gets remembered and the rest of the information is forgotten. The rich tapestry of different spiritual practices is substituted for a sliding scale of frequencies and sometimes rainbow colours. It is not unusual to come across someone who has gone for higher and higher frequencies, but has not made the evolution that would be common with their practice because all these criteria have been lost.
Vibrational frequencies become this catch-all term that replaces so much genuine spirituality and often leads people to believe they have evolved when actually they’re just tuning to a different pitch of reality. Then they often totally disregard all lower frequencies and deny whole parts of themselves, which can in fact make them less spiritually involved because of their self-repression and the willful ignorance they take on. Imagine if a piece of music was all just played at the highest pitch of the piece. There would be no melody. The rich tapestry would be lost and replaced with a succession of high-pitched beeps all the same note. Then someone else comes along and transposes it a semitone higher and claims this is even better. This is what is happening to our beautiful vibrant unique spiritualities from around the world. By a massive New Age community that is culturally appropriating. Frequently all they end up with is the name of the spirituality and nearly everything else is lost.
However, my issue with vibrational frequencies is not the frequencies themselves! It is how they are misused. Reality probably does have different frequencies, but that should not take up like 90% of the progression in a spiritual practice. If someone keeps mentioning vibrational frequencies then I need to ask the question of whether there is more to their spirituality than they bothered to learn, but getting a mention once or twice in an energy work based practice does not hurt.
Aren’t higher frequencies better?
No! It is important to remember that higher frequency does not necessarily mean better. Remember how in Hinduism the cow is such a sacred beast. Well in Buddhism it is considered to live in a sacred “high frequency”. As much as it lives its life in a frequency closer to the gods, it is considered a VERY poor state to be in. The cow is too content to ever proceed to enlightenment so are most of the gods, in fact. Despite living for thousands of years in Buddhism it is believed that many gods eventually descend into worst samsaric states when they incarnate because they spent so long being too content and not striving for enlightenment. Some energy workers experience various forms of burnout and depression because they shift their energy to a higher frequency than their bodies can healthily hold. So higher frequency is not always better.
So how is this going to affect today?
What we are talking about today is the potential clash of different energies vibrating at different frequencies and how to avoid that causing a headache. So if we accept this doctrine of different vibrating frequencies of energy, which seems to be somewhat evident in energy work practice and if it can prevent headaches then it is very useful. Then we need to find a way to get on the same frequency with other people literally not socially and we can prevent this. But what we must do is avoid letting vibrational frequencies be the be-all and end-all of our spiritual practice. We also need to avoid the assumption higher frequencies are better.
Tuning to One person
If you’re tuning into one person then I find putting your fingers at the top of their lateral channels which is on the shoulder just inside the clavicle, the quickest way to do it. Then exchange energy with the person by letting your energy flow in through one lateral and out through the other. I often do this a little bit too quickly and the sudden change can make the other person feel like the room is spinning for a second. If this is the same with you, you might find it more comfortable for other people to put palm to palm and exchange energy like that. Working with this person should be a bit easier now because you’re working with similar energy.
Tuning a group
Often you might need to do energy work with a group and the quickest way to make sure everyone is on the same page is to stand in a circle. Joining hands can make this easier, but is not necessary. Once ready begin to slowly circle the energy. Any direction will do but most people do this clockwise. You can speed up the flow for a minute if you would like. Eventually, visualise it slowing down before you stop it. It is not recommended that you disconnect in the middle of high-speed flow. Having done this people are less likely to have headaches when working together in this group and they are ready for a joint ritual.
Tuning to a plane
If you are astral projecting to a plane of existence or dreamspace. Then look at the feet of the body you have in the astral. Feel those feet touch the floor in the astralspace or dreamspace, not the physical floor beneath you. Then begin to ground into that space using your projected body’s limbs. Exchange energy with the floor in the plane you want to tune to. Now you should be more connected to that plane of existence and able to prolong your visit there.
Conclusion
Nearly all tuning involves exchanging energy until your energy matches what you are tuning into. It can be helpful when working with other people and enable you to work with them or on astral planes for longer and to perceive them better. However, please don’t let frequencies end up being the be-all and end-all of your spiritual practice.
Since I am monetised through Amazon.co.uk I like to finish all blog posts with some book links. If you buy books through these links I get some credit for advertising.
This article was actually inspired while reading Channelling by Lita de Alberdi, however, I do not recommend her book at this time. Most of the exercises I mentioned above were derived from the writing of M. Belanger and their group. They grew to public knowledge by claiming to identify as a Psychic Vampire which puts a lot of people off. I always argue that who knows energy better than someone whose physical body requires that they continually interact with energy on a daily basis? So I have included their books here as well.
